TRAINING DAYS AT MARC

MARC  conducts a number of training days during the year. They involve group lessons, usually with EA Level 1 instructors. The programs vary and sessions include general flatwork, dressage, hacking, groundwork, poles, jumping, cross country and occasional alternatives like mounted games or an unmounted information session. Our typical program is shown below.

Training Day Program:

9.15    Register and pay at the Moonshed

9.30    Saddle up

12.15-1.15    BBQ lunch (please feel free to bring a salad or something nice to go with the snags and coffee)

1.15-2.15     3rd session – flatwork/poles/jumping/cross country

Pack up jumps etc.

Note:
Riders please come down to the Moonshed on arrival and register and pay for the day.
Latecomers may have to miss the 1st session if it will disturb the group to join in.
Riders can choose to participate in all or some of the sessions.
The activities offered in each session will depend on the riders present on the day.
Please notify the Training Day Coordinator of your intention to attend by the Wednesday prior so we know how many instructors will be required.
The fee of $35 includes lunch.
If you want to join or renew your membership please download the membership and waiver forms from the MARC website, fill them out and bring them with you.
All riders must be members of MARC or EA.

Riders will be notified if help is required for setting up.
Riders are expected to help packing up.
Float entry is off Murrumbateman Road, when parking please allow sufficient distance between floats so horses can be  tied to the float at a safe distance from other horses and vehicles.

Look forward to riding with you in 2014!
